In 2013, Daniel Simon purchased and renovated the Palmer Building in downtown historic Hyattsville. With a passion for bringing new life to old things, Daniel was intent on transforming the space into a dynamic and interesting addition to the ever growing Gateway Arts District and newly founded SoHy neighborhood. The building, formerly Palmer Ford, built in 1918, now houses a number of new businesses, including Vigilante Coffee Roastery and Café. With the addition of Studio SoHy, Daniel hopes to bring more of the area's best and brightest artisans into the already vibrant, local, arts community.
